Middle School Student Council

The Middle School Student Council learns about leadership through servince, and they undertake several projects throughout the school year.

The Grace Christian Academy K-8 students, as part of our school-wide mission emphasis, donated toys for Mission of Hope.  We were able to give 150 toys!  Our Middle School Student Council went on Wednesday, Dec. 14th to serve alongside Mission of Hope at Huntsville Elementary & Middle School.  There are 800 students at this rural Scott County school.  They are the largest of the 26 schools Mission of Hope serves.  We helped unload the truck and set up the “store” for the kids to shop at. 

Our students were able to lead the student body in singing "The 12 Days of Christmas" and "Joy to the World".  Then we had the privilege of helping individual students shop for 2 toys for themselves.  As we ‘shopped’ with them we were able to spend a little time showing God’s love through our words and actions.  We feel so blessed to have been able to serve others during this Christmas season.  Thank you to the K-8 student body for helping spread God’s love to those in need!
