It is our mission to provide a sound, biblically-based education that will shape your child in every way - spitiually, socially, phyically, and mentally. Like the young heroes in the Bible, Daniel, Joseph, and Esther - each was equipped to understand their times and to be prepared to influence their culture. To be academically equipped, GCA invests time and energy equipping each student with the basic skills necessry to be a vital member of their community. Kindergarten is the place where those foundational building blocks are laid for the learning journey that will continue for a lifetime.
We are always eager to accept students who are prepared for the joy of learning the basics and beyond, and our kindergarten staff is equipped to prepare each child. At GCA, kindergarten students are immersed in exceptional, challenging, and age appropriate curriculum. With a strong phonics foundation, students develop solid reading skills early that benefit them in all subjects. Bible is one of the daily subject areas and all lessons are taught from a Christian worldview. Kindergarten students participate in six special area classes per week which serve to enrich the curriculum and encourage the development of the whole child. Those classes include Library, Art, Computer, Spanish, Physical Education, and Music.
Students have the opportunity at Grace to explore their interests and gifts in the area of fine arts. Beginning in kindergarten, students participate in two musical productions each year. They have the opportunity to take violin lessons and later enroll in the Instrumental program.
Grace Christian Academy is accredited by both the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). This distinguishes GCA as an exceptional and reputable educational institution. The accreditation process provides an ongoing review of our curriculum, faculty, and extracurriculuar programs.
