High School Girls Volleyball
2011 District 3 and Region 2 Champions!
The 2011 Lady Rams were on a mission to win the 1A State title, and they made it close. Winning a tough, five game match to open the tournament against Trinity Christian, the Lady Rams were poised and excited. They played their best volleyball of the year, having won easily in the district and regional tournaments. Their next opponent, Sale Creek proved tough, but even when they fell behind in losing the first two games, they ladies mustered a second wind and tied the match. The decisive fifth game was an uphill struggle, with the Lady Rams falling short and moving to the loser's bracket.
Playing Friendship Christian, they played hard but discovered what it takes to be a champion, as Friendship Christian would go on to win the 1A crown the next day. This second trip to State for the Lady Rams proved to be a primer for what they hope to be a deep tournament run in 2012, with everyone returning but Senior Morgan Parker.
