What is the Annual Fund?
The Annual Fund is the school’s yearly program that seeks unrestricted gifts to support ongoing needs. Unrestricted gifts are vitally important because they provide long-term strength and stability. Those gifts allow leadership to address high priority needs, respond to unforeseen situations, and invest in high potential areas for institutional advancement.
Why is the Annual Fund important?
Tuition and fees only cover a portion of operating costs. We increasingly rely on private support to keep tuition low and enrollment high. All students at GCA will benefit from the Annual Fund. Support of the Annual Fund will benefit current and future students, so that we can continue building Champions for Christ.
Who supports the Annual Fund?
All members of our community who have been impacted by Grace Christian Academy and support its mission, our alumni, parents, grandparents, friends, neighbors, corporations and foundations all will have a part in its success.
What is our Goal?
We are setting strong goals for the 2011-2012 academic year (our fiscal year is July 1 through June 30), and plan to raise over $160,000 for three new buses for our many athletic teams and field trips. More importantly, we seek high donor participation. There is no set amount for individual gifts. A gift to the Annual Fund is a vote of confidence in Grace Christian Academy.
Matching Gift Program
GCA will benefit even more from your gift through an employee match program.
It's easy to do:
Ask your employer or your spouse's employer if they match gifts to educational institutions.A list of companies that offer matching gifts is available here.
Obtain and complete the matching gift form. It is usually available from the Human Resources Department or your company web site.
Send the matching gift form to Grace Christian Academy.We will process the matching gift form.
