Thirty-four
students graduated in May 2008. Six graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors
(GPA 3.8-4.0) and five graduated with Cum Laude distinction (GPA 3.5-6.4),
Valedictorian for the class was Michelle Porter who attends the University
of Tennessee. Salutatorian was Ansley Guy who attends Lincoln Memorial
University. Joseph Rose received a scholarship to the US Army ROTC program
at UT.

Class of 2007
Twenty-seven students graduated in May 2007. Three graduated with Summa Cum
Laude honors (GPA 3.8-4.0) and five graduated with Cum Laude distinction
(GPA 3.5-3.64). Valedictorian for the class was Andrew Merritt who attends Vanderbilt University. Co-salutatorians were Reid Rankin and Caleb
Cagle. Rankin has been recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corp. as
a National Merit Finalist Rankin and Cagle both attend the University
of Tennessee. Joseph Adams is the third graduate to be accepted into the U.S.
Military Academy.
Other
colleges/universities attended by the 2007 graduates include Lipscomb
University, Carson-Newman College, Bodenseehof (German), Bryan College,
Kentucky Christian University, Middle Tennessee State University, Bob Jones
University and Pellissippi State Technical Community College.
Class of 2006
Eighteen
students graduated in May 2006. Four graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors
(GPA 3.8-4.0) and one graduated with Cum Laude distinction (GPA 3.5-3.64).
Valedictorian for the class was Philip Draper who won the Johnny Mauer
Optimist Club award and was accepted into the U.S. Military Academy at West
Point. Salutatorian was Christopher Banks who was offered over $150,000 in
scholarship monies. Banks is attending Emory University in Atlanta to study
pre-med.
Other

Carson-Newman College, Free Will Baptist Bible College, Gettysburg College,
Pellissippi State Technical Community College and Tennessee
Technological University.
Class of 2005
Seventeen graduates of the class of 2005 made up GCA's first group of
alumni. Four of these students graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors (GPA
3.8-4.0) and four graduated with Cum Laude distinction (GPA 3.5-3.64).
Valedictorian for the senior class was Kristen Arnold who received a
scholarship from Tennessee Technological University. Salutatorians
were Laura Neises and Mollie Flynn. Neises was awarded a presidential
scholarship from Bryan College and Flynn is attending the University of
Tennessee. College scholarships were awarded to 35% of the graduating class.
Other
colleges/universities attended by the 2005 graduates include Embry-Riddle
Aeronautical University, Liberty University, Pellissippi State Technical
Community College, Roane State Community College, Southwestern Conservative
Baptist Bible College and the United States Air Force Academy.
