Senior Pastor Ron Stewart speaks at the dedication ceremony for the new HS building

Grace Christian Academy has come a long way in just ten years. From the time Dr. Stewart was given the vision to start a school and where we are today, the Lord has truly blessed Grace, and the exciting news is that He is not finished with the blessings yet.

It is wonderful to be in the center of God's will and watch Him work all things for good to them that love Him and are called according to His purposes.

God still has much to accomplish at Grace and He wants to use you and me. The great thing about the way God works is that He uses ordinary people and ordinary things.

2010 - 2011 High School Expansion Plans Set to Become A Reality

In August of 2006, phase one of the new high school building opened at GCA. That phase included 8 classrooms, including two science labs, a collegiate size gymnasium and full locker rooms and athletic training facilities. HS enrollment then was 176 students. Each year HS enrollment has been increasing to a current enrollment of 230. The fall of 2010 presents a new challenge as HS enrollment is projected to be near 300. The obvious question is “where are we going to put all of these students?”

We know that nothing takes God by surprise as He has already been working in the hearts of His people. Over the last several months much has been done to prepare for the second phase of the HS building. Ideas have been shared, drawings created and permits issued to construct a classroom addition on the north and east side of the current gymnasium. This new addition will contain 9 instructional classrooms, one music suite and a rough-in for kitchen and cafeteria space.

The question you may be asking is “how is this project being funded?” The answer to that is two-fold. God has already impressed upon the hearts of a couple of families to fund the classroom addition and the rough-in of the kitchen and cafeteria space. We are very thankful for the generosity of these people. At this point, the unfunded portion is the furnishing of the kitchen and cafeteria. The cost of that is estimated to be around $600,000. Please pray with us about this need. Consider how God may want to use you to help meet this need.
